I like to spend money. So it’s no surprise that today’s plan was to go shopping. We got so many cool things, though. I got another ultra-comfy bra, and we picked up a handful of dvds – Van Wilder, Weekend at Bernie’s, The Osbournes Complete 1st Season, and this very awesome 2-day live concert by The Cure called Trilogy. In it, the band performs every song from three albums, spanning over a decade (Pornography, Disintegration, and Bloodflowers) of musical growth. Haven’t watched it yet, but I bet it’s good.

After lunch at Noodles & Company, we stopped in the Yankee Candle store. I have such a weakness for candles and candle accessories. It’s a disease, I swear! I have more stuff than I can put out and appreciate, yet I’m always getting more. I got these cute seashore themed votive holders for the bathroom. See how nice they look on the counter? It would probably look a bit better if our bathroom theme color was blue or tan, but I’m working on that. I’m getting rather bored with the maroon (trust me on this, since I didn’t take any photos). I just love to decorate, I guess.

We finally picked up new flowers for the patio as well. This year we got totally different types and colors. Everything is either purple or pink, as opposed to last year when we had reds, yellows, oranges, and blues (though we did have one purple flower). It was overcast and rainy today, so I’ll try to get some photos this week.

I can’t believe the weekend is almost over! We had such a great time, I don’t want it to end. Gotta play the Mega Millions on Tuesday. You just never know …
