Take it from me, Gurnee Mills sucks. It’s just a mall – nothing special. We went there after visiting North Park Village Nature Center. Didn’t really come across any good photographic opportunities, which was disappointing. After walking around the lame mall, I couldn’t wait to get home. Now I’m debating whether I want to go back out to pick up some things at Walmart. On one hand, I want to, but on the other, I don’t want to do anything the rest of the night. There’s something about the hot, humid weather that makes me want to take a nice long nap.
It has not rained as the stupid Weather Channel keeps predicting, either. I’ve come to the conclusion that the only way to really know what the weather is going to be like, is by going outside and looking up.
It’s all about perspective and what you’re looking for.
