I am so tired of shopping, believe it or not. I keep making lists, and checking them twice, but one of two things keeps happening: either I forgot to list something I need (and remember it the second I’m in the parking lot leaving the store) or the store doesn’t have what I want. I really want a coffee table for the living room all of a sudden and have checked four stores with no luck.
This morning we headed to Target for some last minute gift shopping. We waited too long to get a Lego set the boy wanted so it was out of stock and we had to find something else. We grabbed some groceries too and hightailed it out of there. We have no intentions of going back outside today considering it’s -5 degrees out!
Other than two potentially missing shipments from Amazon.com (the post office says they were delivered yesterday yet they are nowhere to be found), we are done with our shopping. This morning Joe wrapped the kids’ presents we do have, as well as gifts he bought me. I wrapped his gifts on Friday during my lunch break.
I’m not exchanging with my family, but I did get everyone $5 worth of lotto scratch off tickets just for fun. And my cousin is getting a little something since I forgot to tell her my plans not to exchange and she always gets me something.
