Jamba Juice

August 1st, 2003

There’s a place near work called Jamba Juice. I’ve never gone there before, but I was checking out their site and while most of their smoothies are low in fat, the calories are overwhelming. It’s a meal in a cup! I hear each smoothie is $5 too. Is it worth it? Yea, I’m asking you. Look, I even turned comments on for this entry, so please make it worth my effort.

The drinks certainly sound healthy, but there’s gotta be a way to cut the calories. That’s a little crazy!

I wanna try them, they sound really yummy

I think that they are worth it (they cost about $3.50-$3.95 here). They are REALLY good, and the best way to eat them is to share them with your man (to cut the calories in half).

Jamba Juice acquired the Utah-based Zuka Juice in the not so distant past – Zuka Juice was the best thing ever! When I lived there, (in Provo) I used to go at least 3 or 4 times a week.

Zuka Juice was an evil addiction.

Yeah, anyway the point is – if they are anything at all like Zuka Juice (and I would assume that they are…) then they’re delish!

Jamba is so worth the effort. I like to add the ‘energy booster’ or the ‘calcium booster’ and will sometimes have the smoothie as my lunch since it’s very filling.

I haven’t tried it myself, but I know some people who love Jamba Juice and go there daily.

We’ve had Jamba Juice around here for a long time, and I love ’em. They have a banana-chocolate drink that’s awesome, and I load in a bunch of healthy extras. While I don’t go there every day, it’s a good change of pace once every week or two.

Sounds exactly like Booster Juice, here in Canada. In which case? SO worth it. Not only are they delicious, but yes – they are virtually a meal!

    [And yep, about $5… ]

Thanks for all the feedback. Based on everyone’s opinion, we’re going to stop by Jamba Juice tomorrow afternoon. I hope it’s as good as everyone is saying!

There was a Jamba Juice shop we used to visit regularly when we went to Palm Springs a couple of years ago and we both got hooked. Spent all our holiday money in that damn place – very addictive and totally delicious. Oh man, now I’ve just remembered that I want a holiday:-(
