After traveling through Missouri on our way to Arizona last November, and seeing about a million signs advertising the Meramec Caverns, I decided it would be cool to take a mini vacation there in the spring. Who knew roadside advertising worked so well?

I’ve been looking at some information, and I imagine seeing the caverns would only take up a day, so we are going to visit Branson, Missouri as well (and possibly Springfield too since I’d like to go to the Simpson’s house Wonders of Wildlife Museum). In Branson, I wouldn’t mind visiting The Butterfly Place and the Ripley’s Believe or Not Museum.

First of all, if you go anywhere near KC, you must email me so we can grab lunch. Second, if you go anywhere near KC, you need to go to Worlds of Fun. If you like amusement parks, of course. It lives up to its name. :-)

We’re going to Branson this year, too. Although for us, it’s only a 5 hour drive.
