Damn, what a great day! I was in a good mood from the start. I brought homemade brownies to work for my team, which they enjoyed. Everyone was in good spirits, which coupled with a steady workflow made the day go by fairly quickly. Joe had a vacation day so he drove me to work, picked me up for lunch (we went to Bennigan’s and had their delicious broccoli bites and ultimate baked potato soup), and picked me up after work from which we went directly to the produce market and picked up groceries for next week to get it out of the way. Since Joe was home most of the day, he cleaned the apartment and did the majority of the laundry, so I don’t have to do much. He also picked up Swimfan from Blockbuster for tonight. What a wonderful man!

It’s supposed to be in the mid 60’s this weekend. I am so psyched and we have a ton of fun things planned. TGIF x1000000!

I used to make brownies to bring into the office. I told people I had secret ingredients when they’d ask me why they tasted so good. They’d press me to tell and I’d finally reluctantly reveal the secrets: soy sauce and cottage cheese. Hmm, for some reason no one ever believed me. ;-)
