Pre-dinner Whopper

Two food items I’ve recently started eating that I can’t get enough of are cranberries and spinach. I’m talking fresh spinach here, not the canned kind. Anyway, a nice way to work both into my dinner is to add the spinach and some dried cranberries to a salad with romaine lettuce. So yummy! I also tried this recipe for a Cranberry Turkey Bagel and it’s really good, even when using the low-fat cream cheese. I do not recommend fat-free cream cheese, though, because it’s absolutely disgusting!

I hate when the weather gets this cold because all I want to do is eat and sleep. Not such a good combo when you’re trying to lose weight. I think working out on the elliptical every other day has been working out better for the weight loss than every day. So today I will do some weights and a couple of Pilates moves.

  1. I love spinach too. It’s good too if you put some in your sauce when you have spaghetti, you just have to put it in for a minute before you take the sauce off the heat.
