SNL & Mr. Fallon

More often than not, I have to question why SNL is still on the air. Is it just me, or are the majority of the skits lame? They rarely even get a chuckle out of me. I miss a lot of the older cast members who have moved on to (hopefully) bigger and better things. Did you catch the Best of Jimmy Fallon episode a few weeks ago? Now that was funny, even without the “company computer guy” sketch which I always loved so much. I like Jimmy Fallon … he does dead-on impressions and is generally amusing to watch. That being said, I’m not so sure he’ll make it as a movie actor, because I think stand-up and sketch comedy are more his forte. But I could be wrong. It’s been known to happen.

  1. Ugh, I don’t like SNL. I agree that most of their skits are very lame, and WAY too long. I think if they would cut the time in half they would be much better. Sadly, poor Ashlee Simpson is the funniest thing to happen on that show in a VERY long time.
