On your typical morning I am half-asleep between 5:30 am (when Joe’s alarm goes off) and 6:30 am (when my alarm goes off). So it’s a special treat when Joe doesn’t have to get up until my regular time because I actually can sleep for that hour, uninterrupted. Such would be the case tomorrow morning. But of course it would happen that tonight I’m suffering from a bit of medication-induced insomnia. I had a headache earlier (4pm) and took a pill that has caffeine in it. Coupled with the can of crack Coca-Cola I drank, I’m buzzing. I’ve been reading for the past half hour, trying to get myself sleepy. So now I’m online. I think I might play a game of Shanghai to tire out my eyes.

“You’re getting sleepy …”

At least being wide awake late at night will keep you on your guard in case that spider goes prowling again.
