We visited the Chicago Botanic Garden<\/a> today. Don’t let the name fool you – it isn’t in Chicago, but in a north suburb called Glencoe. I can’t believe I never knew about this place before this year. Admission is “free”, you just have to pay for parking, which is $8.75. It’s more than worth it too. There are thousands of gorgeous flowers, over 20 different gardens, several statues, waterfalls, and breath-taking views. I know we’ll be back later this year because we didn’t get to see everything in the two and a half hours we were there. We did get a lot of exercise, though! And of course, photos<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Here’s a few that didn’t make it into the series, but were interesting nonetheless.<\/p>\n
