We bought a brand new _____ today. Our first joint vehicle purchase, in fact. We’ve been driving the same vehicles since we got together seven and a half years ago – a 1993 Mitsubishi Mighty Max (his) and a 2000 Volkswagen Jetta (mine). We’re keeping my precious Jetta (which is in dire need of new tires and an alignment) and either trading in or selling the pickup truck; we haven’t decided which yet. We have until tomorrow when we pick up our new vehicle from the dealership. They had to buy it from another location since they didn’t have the exact one we wanted on the lot. This thing has got it all and we got a really good deal on it too. We’re very excited!<\/p>\n

More tomorrow after we take delivery.<\/p>\n

For now, let’s have a moment of silence for the pickup truck where so many memories were made. All those late nights driving around town. *Sniffle* I will miss you, little guy.<\/p>\n
