{"id":1787,"date":"2008-06-25T19:17:17","date_gmt":"2008-06-26T00:17:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/nicole.sleepyfroggie.net\/blog\/?p=1787"},"modified":"2022-06-14T12:40:04","modified_gmt":"2022-06-14T17:40:04","slug":"canon-powershot-sd870-canon-40d-accessories","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nicole.sleepyfroggie.net\/blog\/?p=1787","title":{"rendered":"Canon Powershot SD870 &#038; Canon 40D Accessories"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I know I said I&#8217;d review my new camera in depth, but I don&#8217;t have much more to add to <a href=\"http:\/\/nicole.sleepyfroggie.net\/blog\/?p=1774\">my original observations<\/a> other than I really love this camera!<\/p>\n<p>On Sunday we decided to visit <a href=\"http:\/\/cosleyzoo.org\">Cosley Zoo<\/a> so I could test out the 40D, but idiot that I am, I left the camera turned on the day before with an image stabilized lens attached so the battery had died. Doh! I&#8217;ve left the camera on before with the 20D but not with a lens that is constantly moving so it never drained the battery like that.<\/p>\n<p>We didn&#8217;t have enough time to charge the battery before going to the zoo so I decided I&#8217;d just play around the with the Powershot instead. I have to say, I am really impressed with the photos I got. Obviously they don&#8217;t compare to a digital SLR but they are much better than I expected. <a href=\"http:\/\/snapshots.perfectpixels.org\/2008\/20080622\/\">Check them out for yourself<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I ordered more accessories for the 40D from B&#038;H Photo and <strike>we<\/strike> Joe decided that&#8217;s it for awhile. And that&#8217;s all it really is &#8211; anyone who is really into photography can see from the list that these are not the best lenses or filters that money can buy.
