For whatever reason, items on Borders.com are approx. $3-$5 cheaper than they are in the brick and mortar store. Really dumb, but whatever.

So guess what I ordered? I got two dvds – Desperately Seeking Susan and Foxfire. This is the second time I’ve just grabbed any old book off the library shelf of new fiction and came home with an entertaining story set in England. You know, I think I may start using British terms to explain things because I really like them for some reason. I love how they call an argument a row, or an apartment a flat. I also find it amusing, as well as impressive, how when I’m watching a police chase show featuring British cops, they are always so calm and matter of fact. And those accents. Well don’t get me started, but I think anyone with a British accent sounds about 50 times smarter than an American even if they aren’t. I know, I’m weird. Or perhaps a wanker? ;)

I’ve had this $40 Borders gift certificate burning a hole in my pocket for over a month now, and finally got around to placing an order on their website yesterday.
