Just a few quick observations regarding the 2100 since I’ve only had it a day and I’m pressed for time:<\/p>\n
It starts up quite quickly.<\/p>\n
It doesn’t have a lens cap, which is one less thing to fiddle around with.<\/p>\n
It’s very small.<\/p>\n
It has a really cool spring-loaded on\/off switch that isn’t like the other Coolpixs.<\/p>\n
The menus are completely different than the other Coolpix cameras I’ve used.<\/p>\n
The only complaint I have so far: It seems as though the camera doesn’t remember if you’ve turned flash off if you switch between modes. I mistakenly took flash photos more than once because I had set flash to off and then it reset to default which is on if light is low.<\/p>\n
Oh yea, and the blinking hand in the corner is rather annoying. I realize it’s to warn that the light is too low, but it’s still annoying.<\/p>\n
Other than that, it’s all good.<\/p>\n
