Well it looks like I failed that blogging challenge only 8 days in. Awesome. Yesterday I worked late, went out for drinks with my coworkers afterward, then came home and overdosed on Thursday night sitcoms. By the time it occurred to me I needed to post an entry it was 10 pm and I was falling asleep. At that point I wasn’t going to get out a glowing screen and wake myself back up – I have a hard enough time sleeping as it is. <\/p>\n
Apparently so do other people I work with. Two people I have worked closely with for years resigned recently. Their last day was today. It’s sad to see them go, but I completely understand why and don’t blame them as my employer is demanding and I’m fortunate enough to have a very good supervisor. I don’t know their supervisors or whether they are any good, but my point is that if I’m overwhelmed and I’ve got a good boss I can only imagine how someone might feel if their boss wasn’t so great.<\/p>\n
Anyway, I’m posting this during my lunch break and have so much to do before I leave today. There’s no such thing as a relaxing Friday anymore. I’ll just be happy to go home… eventually. ;)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
