Well that totally sucked. A new Meijer store opened in the area earlier this week, so we thought we’d head over there tonight to check it out. We figured it wouldn’t be very crowded at 10 pm. I guess a million other people had the same idea. It totally killed my desire to spend money when I had to push through people just standing in the middle of aisles like they were brain-dead. After walking around fifteen minutes, we left empty-handed. No way were we standing in their long lines. <\/p>\n
Since we were out, we did some grocery shopping. It was much quieter at the Jewel and Dominick’s. Unfortunately, shopping for food does nothing to pacify my need for retail therapy, which has been strong this week. I imagine we’ll be hitting the Walmart\/Target this weekend.
