Plus it has a neat feature where you can have it turn on\/off the tv and box at the same time. Despite someone on a forum complaining how sometimes it doesn’t turn off both devices, I haven’t had a problem with it. As long as you hold down the button a little longer, it gets both devices. The complainer is just that, a complainer, especially when he gets all melodramatic about his tv being on all day long and it possibly getting ruined. Ok, drama queen. Let’s blame the remote for the fact that you can’t tell when your tv is still on. Don’t most tvs have a light on front to show the power is on? All the ones I own do.<\/p>\n

The only thing I don’t like about the remote so far is that after programming my vcr into the aux button, the all on\/off button turns the vcr on as well. As I don’t use the vcr very often, it’s annoying. I don’t want to take the programming off, however, because it’s nice to use the remote for all the devices. I checked the user guide, and while I think the special on\/off button should only control the tv and cable box, it’s not set up that way.
