We rented Mean Girls<\/i> this evening since Joe’s daughter came to visit by herself. Bad idea. I thought Freaky Friday<\/i> was rated PG-13, and it was ok, but it turns out it was only PG. Mean Girls<\/i>, on the other hand, is rated PG-13 and for good reason – it is totally not appropriate for a 10 year old to be watching. Too much swearing and talking about sex. I was horrified, as was Joe, and we shut it off less than 10 minutes in. Luckily his daughter isn’t the type to have a temper tantrum and she was ok when we explained we were sorry, but it wasn’t appropriate for her. We ended up ordering Rainbow Brite and the Star Stealer<\/i><\/a> from On-Demand instead. Holy crap, I remember seeing this movie when I was her age! I gotta tell you, it’s pretty fun having kids around sometimes because you can re-live your childhood. ;)<\/p>\n

Anyway, as soon as she goes to bed, which will be soon, we’ll finish watching Mean Girls<\/i> because I really wanted to see it.<\/p>\n
