Happy Thanksgiving to all who celebrate! I am stuffed after two helpings of turkey, stuffing, potatos and cranberry sauce. And then I came home and had some yummy Market Pantry (Target’s brand) New York Vanilla ice cream with some frozen berries. Yum! They have the best vanilla ice cream I’ve ever tasted.<\/p>\n
For a little while this afternoon, we actually considered going shopping tomorrow, which is traditionally known as Black Friday. (Psst … do you know why they call it that? I’ll reveal the answer later). But I don’t think a $7 Lite Brite is worth the pushing, shoving, and general frustration of dealing with people on a mission for good deals at 6 am. Besides, who wants to wake up at 5:30 am when they don’t have to? We do that five times a week as it is, we deserve a break. <\/p>\n
While many of you will be out there fighting over the last Gameboy Advance or whatever the big craze is this season, we’ll be all snuggly in our bed. And with the snow we got yesterday<\/a>, there’s no where else I’d rather be. Too bad we have to get out of bed at some point to go pick up the kids. It’s times like these I wish we had a transporter ala Star Trek.
