I’m feeling cranky for quite a few reasons, but the main one is that the middle finger on my right hand is infected and hurts like a bitch because it’s so swollen. It started feeling funny on Tuesday but yesterday was the worst, so I headed over to immediate care this morning. The doctor said it wasn’t infected enough to drain, so I was given an antibiotic prescription and directions to soak it three times a day. It is making typing very difficult and I keep smacking it into stuff which hurts. I won’t be able to put away all the Christmas decor today like I had planned and it’s going to be a challenge cleaning the rat cages which are already past due.<\/p>\n
On top of that, all the crap I went through yesterday donating blood at the local library was for naught; thanks to the infection they won’t be able to use my blood.
