Things are improving for Joe’s dad and we’re very relieved. His breathing tube has been removed and he seems much more coherent today. We still haven’t gotten the test results back, but we’re fairly certain he will make a full recovery. He’s going to start physical therapy tomorrow too. It’s amazing what a difference a few days make. On Friday Joe’s family was talking as if he was going to either pass away or be severely mentally incapacitated. I’m not sure if he just came out of everything or they were overreacting; I’m just happy that things are looking up. We’ll probably leave here on Wednesday if things continue to improve.
