Yes, you read that correctly. But no, I&#8217;m not replacing the 20D.<\/p>\n<p>I just want something to carry around that&#8217;s better than my cruddy 2-megapixel Nikon 2100. It suffers from poor macro focusing, not to mention it has crappy zoom and eats batteries. I definitely want something more robust, but small enough to fit in a purse, to take along on all outings, especially when we&#8217;re at the Disney parks where I don&#8217;t want to be lugging a huge camera and lens on the rides. <\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve checked some reviews of the current 4-megapixel cameras out there as I don&#8217;t want to go over $250. Right now the camera I&#8217;m leaning towards is the <a href=\"http:\/\/consumer.usa.canon.com\/ir\/controller?act=ModelDetailAct&#038;fcategoryid=145&#038;modelid=11125\">Canon Powershot A520<\/a> due to it&#8217;s size, picture quality, zoom, and battery life. <\/p>\n<p>So here&#8217;s my criteria, in case you have any suggestions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Price range: Up to $250\n<li>Megapixels: 4+\n<li>Storage: Any except memory stick, although CF is preferred\n<li>Battery type: Anything, as long as it is rechargeable and doesn&#8217;t suck them dry like my Nikon does\n<li>Lens type: A decent optical zoom (no fixed lens)\n<li>Size: Something fairly small so I can carry it anywhere with ease\n<\/ul>\n<p>Is that too demanding and unrealistic?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Well folks, I am officially in the market for another camera.
