Monday Mission – A Fraction

I don’t care for all the questions on this week’s Monday Mission, so I’m only answering the interesting ones:

4. What kind of things at Christmas time just scream “tacky” and “White Trash” when you seem them? Those blow-up items on the lawn. One is cute, any more than that is horrible. And don’t get me started on the manger scenes that sit next to Santa Claus and Frosty.

5. Suppose you had a dear friend who calls you in tears because her boyfriend had just left her. They’d been together for nearly 5 years, and one day he announces to her that he is leaving because she had gained too much weight. They were in love, or so she thought, and then out of the blue, he bails and blames it on her weight. What would you say to her about this man? There’s nothing out of the blue about this behavior. I doubt anyone would just up and leave their significant other over their weight. There would have been plenty of signs. Furthermore, anyone who is that shallow doesn’t know what love is and the person is better off without them.

These questions are just too long. I’m done.
