Organized beading

Thanks to the weekly coupons from Michael’s and JoAnn Fabrics, I got my beads and beading tools organized this weekend. First I got this binder from Michael’s. Normally $14.99, it only cost $9 with the 40% off coupon. As you can see, it’s already practically full! I can’t believe how many beads I’ve collected in the short time I’ve been doing this. It’s almost like an addiction, but it’s so fun visiting the local beading stores because they always have completed pieces for sale which are great for ideas.

I also got this container from JoAnn’s to store my tools. It too was 40% off, so it was only $8. I feel so much better having everything organized now. I can’t work in chaos! I managed to buy some beading wire too, no thanks to my readers. ;) I just ended up buying what my coworker uses. I also got some heavier crimp beads so I can re-string Joe’s necklace.

Right now I’m working on designs for two bracelets and a necklace as seen here. The purple and white one along the left side is to match one of the new sweaters I recently bought. It’s going to have three white stars in the middle which I think will turn out really cute.
