Awww yeah

Look what Wii got today. Heehee!

Nintendo Wii

I guess our patience finally paid off. We’re not the type to stand outside waiting in line, so we figured we’d eventually just happen to come across a Wii in stock and that’s exactly what happened today. While eating breakfast this morning we saw it advertised in Target’s ad but mused it was already sold out by then since it was 9:30 am and they had been open an hour and a half. I mean just last week we passed by Toys R Us and a shitload of people were outside waiting because they had the Wii in stock, so why think any differently with Target?

We hit Petsmart first for some bedding for Oreo and then the mall to look for drapes. We finally found some at JCPenney for a ridiculously low price and I am very happy that we’ll finally be able to block out the light at night. I also checked New York & Company for some clothes but didn’t find anything I liked. I love that store but it’s hit and miss like everywhere else.

When we finally made it to Target it was past noon, and as we rounded the corner and the electronics department came into view, I noticed the “out of stock” sign for the Wii wasn’t up like I expected. Then we saw the boxes and Joe asks, “should we get one?” I was still mentally debating if I wanted to spend the money when he goes, “we are definitely getting one”. So we did. I asked the kid at the counter if there was any games he recommended, so that’s how we ended up with Game Party. It looks cute and was only $20, so why not? And everyone needs Wii Play because it’s fun, plus you get an extra controller.

Joe is hooking everything up now to the plasma. I don’t think it should screw up the tv since a lot of people seem to be playing it on plasmas.

Wii are going to have a very fun afternoon!

Ok, I’m finished with the word play now.

  1. Katie said she almost got me Game Party for Christmas. We might still. Wii Play has the best shooter game since Duck Hunt. Enjoy! Oh, and if you wanna swap console codes, let me know.
