I made an attempt to trace this back to the original source, but I have no idea who that is … so this is borrowed from the blogging world …

1. What year was the best year of your life?
The first one was 2001, the year I fell in love with Joe. Each year since has been wonderful.

2. One animal or insect that Noah should have left off the ark?
Noah … Ark? What are those?

3. Do you make a wish before blowing out your birthday candles?
Usually. Not that I’ve had a birthday cake with candles in the past how many years. :(

4. Do you generally open your bills on the day that you receive them?
Not usually. I pay them whenever.

5. How many pillows are on your bed?
Four.

6. Favorite ice cream flavor?
Mint chocolate chip.

7. What is the most dominate color in your wardrobe?
Black

8. Have you ever seen a ghost?
I think so … when I was younger and lived with my parents I thought I saw someone/something standing in the doorway in the basement.

9. Would you rather go to a carnival or circus?
Circus, just because I haven’t been to one in so long.

10. Favorite meal: breakfast, lunch, or dinner?
Dinner, because I eat the most then and I like eating. :)

11. Your favorite fictional animal?
A Pegasus.

12. Have you ever flown first-class?
No, but I did fly business class and it was nice.

13. Would you go on a reality show?
Nope. Those people are desperate pathetic losers who only find fulfillment in their lives if someone else is paying attention to them.

14. Are you more optimistic or pessimistic about the future?
I’m realistic.

15. Pancakes or waffles?
Not fond of either, so it depends on my mood.

16. If you could own a home anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Hawaii? I dunno, somewhere it’s a steady 75 degrees all the time, but not overcrowded like California.

17. Your favorite Soup of the Day?
Broccoli cheese.

18. What site is a must see for all visitors to your city?
I live near Chicago, so the view from the 103rd floor of the Sears Tower is something all should see.

19. Can you recommend a good restaurant in your city?
I would, if I could remember the name!

20. You go to the zoo; What is the one animal that you want to see?
Depends on the zoo. But tigers and polar bears are my favorite, and if I was at San Diego Zoo, it would be the pandas.

21. Potatoes, rice, or pasta; Which is your favorite?
Potatoes.

22. What is the best movie that you’ve seen this year?
I have no idea. Most movies are memorable for about two hours.

23. One of your favorite books when you were a child?
Richard Scarry’s Best Storybook Ever. I still have that book in my memory box and it’s falling apart.

24. What in your life are you most grateful for?
That I found Joe and that he loves me as much as I love him.

25. You are home alone and use the bathroom; do you close the door?
Nope.

26. What is your favorite small appliance?
Toaster oven.

27. Salty snacks or sweet treats?
Salty. Potato chips are heaven.

28. Are you usually a little early, a little late, or right on time?
I’m either early or right on time. I hate to be late.

29. What is the most daring thing that you have ever done?
Ummm … I don’t know. I’m very cautious by nature.

30. Have you ever met someone famous?
Nope.

31. What was one of your favorite games as a child?
Goldilocks and the Three Bears.

32. At what age have you looked your best?
I’ll let you know when I reach it.

33. One person that never fails to make you laugh?
Myself. I’m not kidding!

34. What was the first music that you ever bought?
The Bangles – A Different Light

35. If you could change one thing about your family life when you were a child, what would it be?
That my mom wasn’t allergic to everything and slept until noon during the summer, thus making us wait for her to get out of bed and that my dad wasn’t verbally and physically abusive. I’m entitled to two, they both equally sucked.

36. What is the one thing that you cook that always receives compliments?
Tacos, baby!

37. From what news source do you receive the bulk of your news?
The internet. Do they still make newspapers? ;)

38. In the last calendar year, how many people have you told that you love them?
Probably just a handful … Joe and my family.

39. Who received your first kiss?
Ummm … you mean who stole my first kiss? That would be this punk named Matthew who lived a couple of blocks from me and jumped out of the bushes while I was walking to school and tackled me.

40. The single most important quality in a mate?
Similar interests/personality.

41. What do you value most in a relationship?
To be myself and still be loved.

42. Do you believe that you have a soulmate? If yes, have you already met?
I do, and yes, we have.

43. Do you consider yourself well organized?
You don’t know the half of it. I think Organized is my middle name.

44. On average, how many times a day do you look at yourself in the mirror?
Whenever I’m in front of one (i.e. go to the bathroom).

45. Did you ever make a prank phone call?
No, and you want to know why? I was always afraid, even as a kid, that my prank call would cause someone to leave their kid in the bathtub or something and the kid would drown and I would be indirectly responsible for their death. Yes, I thought this way even when I was younger because I’ve always been more mature than my age. That’s why I act so immature now! ;)

46. What one quality do you seek in a friend?
Someone who is considerate of others.

47. Have you ever killed an animal?
If you don’t count insects, then no. Well, at least not intentionally. A few toads/frogs died at my hands when I was younger but I didn’t mean to kill them. :(

48. When you were twelve years old, what did you want to be when you grew up?
Nothing. Wow, I did it!

49. Do you believe in an afterlife?
No.

50. What would you like to accomplish with the remaining years of your life?
I would like to visit many places and have lots of money.
