Sunday Brunch

Lookie here, I remembered to do the Sunday Brunch ON Sunday. Wow!

An Auto-biography

1. Who taught you how to drive? My mom.

2. How old were you when you got your driver’s license? 16? Whatever is the youngest age you can get a license.

3. What kind of vehicle(s) do you own? 2000 Atlantic Blue Volkswagen Jetta GLS VR6 w/ moonroof, 6-cd changer, Monsoon system. Yes, I had to “pimp my ride”. ;)

4. Is it an automatic or stick shift? Automatic.

5. Do you keep the inside of your vehicle sparkly clean, fairly clean or pretty much messy? Well, I’d like to keep it sparkly clean, but unfortunately I’m too lazy, without the means, and have two step-kids that prevent that. So I’d say fairly clean. Although right this moment my car is very clean after two hours of detailing inside and out. Joe also changed the spark plugs.

Good news and brunch

Ugh! Why do I keep forgetting to do the Sunday Brunch ON Sunday? I have the worst memory, I swear.

Before I get to that, though, the good news: Our upstairs neighbors are moving on June 13th. Woo hoo! We might actually get peace and quiet then. Yay! Also, management offered to reimburse us if we purchase air purifiers that you attach to the vents. Apparently they can filter out the cigarette smoke. If that’s true, we should be ok staying here. Cross your fingers. I really don’t want to move.

Now to the Sunday Brunch …

Potpourri

1. Which television series do you think had the best final episode? None. You just can’t end a series properly. It never lives up to your, er … my, expectations.

2. Do you own something that you really should throw away but can’t part with? I probably own a lot of things like that cause I’m a packrat.

3. Would you be willing to spend a night alone in a house that is supposedly haunted? Hell no!

4. Go back to your childhood … What did you want to be when you grew up? I can’t say that I ever really thought about it.

5. What do you need to make your favorite pizza? Lots of cheese!!!

Thursday Brunch?

I totally forgot about the Sunday Brunch, but I have to still do it because it always has more interesting questions than the Friday Five:

Let’s Go Shopping!

1. How often do you go grocery shopping? Typically once a week, usually on Sunday mornings (to beat the rush), but the last week we’ve gone three times, mostly so we could get some exercise by walking to the store instead of driving.

2. What is the last thing you bought for yourself? The Matrix Revolutions on dvd.

3. What do you like shopping for most often? Knick-knacks for the apartment. I’ve tried cutting back, though. We really don’t have the room and I really hate clutter.

4. Are you an impulse shopper? Somewhat, but only when it comes to small stuff like things for our place, never anything that’s going to put a dent in my credit card bill like a digital camera. I research that kinda stuff for months and agonize over what to get and where I can find the cheapest price at the most reputable dealer.

5. What is the last item you purchased? Just some groceries at the store today. Exciting, huh?
