Big Fish
We watched Big Fish last night. I wasn’t really looking forward to seeing it, but Joe wanted to, so I gave it a try. I have to say, I really didn’t care for the beginning of the movie at all. I was getting ready to get on my computer, but then it got interesting. The movie is just slow at first.

Watch it brain, or I’ll stab you with a q-tip
Ok let’s see here. So far I’ve managed to put the wrong contacts in my eyes (switched the left and right somehow) and looked all around for the cap to the saline bottle, which was already on the bottle. Yea, it’s gonna be a great day with my diminished thinking abilities.
Just one 8 hour day to go before 9 days of non-work, all-Joe all-the-time bliss. :)
Two thumbs up
I picked up Spirited Away from the library the other day, but I haven’t been in the mood to watch it. It’s due back tomorrow, so maybe another time. Have you seen it? If so, was it good?
I ordered two movies from Deep Discount DVD on May 30th and they finally arrived on Tuesday. It took THAT long for them to process the order and ship it to me and they are literally down the street. I could drive to their warehouse in less than 10 minutes, and I would have if they’d let me. But at least I got my movies in time for the weekend.
What did I buy? Two goofy movies that I just can’t resist watching anytime I come across them on cable – Summer School and Overnight Delivery. The former was just released on dvd this month. I had it on my wish list since last year.
Chainsaw: “You passed and I failed! You asshole! How could you do that to me?”
Dave: “It was an accident. I’ll take it again. I can fail, I know I can.”
