I called the local Jewel foods (Albertsons for you west-coasters) and asked, “Do you carry the Tom Tom brand tamales?” They told me yes. I got there and they didn’t have any. I wonder if they thought I was stuttering, although I am pretty sure I didn’t say Tom Tom tamales, I did use the word brand in there.
I contacted State Farm Bank via e-mail to change my last name on my car loan and they wrote back that I have to fax or send a letter with my info and a copy of my marriage license. I wrote back, “it would be helpful if you provided the fax number and/or address”!
