Of Montreal – Wraith Pinned To The Mist — Kept hearing this song at the movie theatre so it got caught in my mind. The band lets you download the song from their official site.

Rock Kills Kid – Paralyzed — I just ordered this from Walmart.com to (finally) use the gift card my Mom gave me for my birthday (in January). Personally I could have downloaded the entire album from iTunes for less but the more I use iTunes, the less I like it. For one, it is quite sluggish. Now, I don’t have the fastest computer out there but it’s certainly no hunk of junk and it’s really irritating when I type in a name in the search box and I can watch the letters slowly appear one by one. This is to search the library on my own hard drive! It’s ridiculous. On top of that, iTunes doesn’t allow me to convert any of the songs I downloaded to MP3 because they are protected files. So I’d have to do it in a round-about way by burning them to a CD and them ripping them as MP3s. But thanks to the aforementioned sluggish response, trying to put together a playlist to burn is a nightmare. Screw iTunes, I hate it. I’d rather buy the CD and rip it to my machine. I’m a bit irritated at the moment if you hadn’t noticed.

Nickelback – Savin’ Me — Joe wanted me to see the video for this song and it really stuck with me. I like when videos tell a story, and this one is very neat and emotional. Now I’m addicted to the song.

Nicole out.

  1. Wow. I have no problem with iTunes whatsoever. Fast everything for me. Searching my own catalog is instantaneous and I have more than 7,000 songs on my computer (46GB).

  2. I hate iTunes, too. It is so slow and seems to take over everything, and it constantly starts up when I don’t want it to. I ended up deleting it, even though I did like the artist picks playlists. I don’t like windows media player either, but at least it doesn’t cause as many problems for me.
