I was thinking the other day – why is it that I only make a point to capture a beautiful sunset when we’re away from home, like on a vacation? Doesn’t that seem silly? The sun sets every evening, yet it never occurred to me to find a scenic place near home to see what I could capture. So I decided to do just that tonight. And of course, I had to drag Joe along with me, so he could get bitten by mosquitos. Not sure what it is about his blood, but he gets bit 10x more often than I.

Great pictures…it’s nice to see a sunset; here in the Maryland they are but a distant memory.
