That’s what I call Monday. I noticed my mood improves as the week goes on. Hardly a shocker, I’m sure.
We finally watched the last three episodes of Prison Break this weekend. We always procrastinate watching it but then it sucks us in. I’m not sure if I can stop from tuning in next year even though I kinda want to. I’m just tired of feeling obligated to watch shows instead of truly looking forward to them. One in particular is Hell’s Kitchen. I watched the first episode of this recent season and then I deleted the series recording before I got sucked in. I have movies on the DVR I need to watch and when it gets past 50% full I feel all panicky! I really should delete the MadTV and SNL series too since they totally suck, but once in awhile there’s a good skit so I don’t.
Joe is practicing Yankee Doodle and Jingle Bells on his guitar at the moment. He just started taking lessons two weeks ago. I’m hoping he’ll learn a Cure song eventually. Speaking of, Happy Birthday to Robert Smith today.
Time to make dinner.
I abandoned several shows that used to be huge favorites of mine, but started to feel like a major chore to keep up with. I gave up on: Alias, Lost, 24, and Heroes. It just takes too much energy to keep up with that type of show where you can’t really miss a single episode if you want to know wtf is going on.
