Only in Chicagoland can you get a heavy downpour on a day where no rain has been predicted whatsoever. Luckily we were inside, just relaxing. I think it was the rain on the horizon, without us aware of it, that made us so lethargic. I’m sure I’ll kick myself tomorrow for not making more of the day off, but honestly, I wasn’t in the mood for a movie today. Perhaps next weekend. Instead, I finished The Lovely Bones. I started it on Thursday and couldn’t put it down. Good books are few and far between it seems.

I loved “The Lovely Bones” even though I cried through the whole thing. The Huz doesn’t understand how that works, but it just does.
