If you live in the west/northwest Chicago burbs, you have to go to this restaurant in Downers Grove called Omega. It’s open 24/7 and their food and service is outstanding. They are constantly busy! We had dinner there tonight and I ordered my usual – grilled cheese and cream of chicken soup. It’s a bit of a ride from where we live, but totally worth it for the soup alone. I also spoke with one of the managers about their website as there are some grammatical errors and a typo on the about page. I had printed out the page and brought it in with some corrections I made to it. Joe was worried they’d take offense, but the manager thanked me profusely for caring and asked me my opinion on one of their signs. What can I say, I like to help people out. Especially when they are as nice as they are at this place.

I LOVE cream of chicken soup – it’s my favorite. We’re not often in that area, but if we are, we’ll try and check it out. Do they serve it everyday? Most restaurants around here only serv t on Sundays.

Yea, like Saravan’s in Midlothian only serves it on Sundays. Omega serves it Sundays, but also Wednesdays, which is why we went tonight. Mmmmm it is soooo good!
Thats great that they were open to you sharing what you found on their site. I think I would’ve been afraid they’d take offense as well. Yay you for helping them out!
Oh my god, I thought I was the only person who notices fuck-ups on menus! I’ve never brought it to the attention of anyone though — maybe I should start! It drives me absolutely batty.
