I haven’t been sleeping well the past few days and I can’t figure out the cause. So now I’m just torn between “giving in” and taking a valium, or some Nyquil, to ensure I don’t toss and turn all night long, or just stay up later than normal to force myself to exhaustion. This is so frustrating for me because I used to fall asleep within minutes and not wake up at all during the night. Now I take forever to fall asleep and I feel like I’m half awake the entire night. Nothing in particular is on my mind so I don’t think it’s anxiety. I don’t know what it is really. I’ve even taken baths latey to try and make me sleepy but it’s not working.

try some melatonin from the store. it’s cheap, always worked for me, and should reset your schedule
You could also try meditation right before bed. But if you’re like me and think that’s lame, get a relaxing yoga video or DVD, like PM Yoga.
