I finally got around to getting my hair cut today. It looks and feel so much better. It was getting too long and heavy for my liking. I lucked out and got a girl who didn’t want to make small talk. Plus I went in early before the rush and it only took 20 minutes. I got it done at Great Clips for $11, plus I inadvertently gave the girl a $4 tip. Not that she didn’t do a good job, I just meant to give her $3. When she went to give me the change from my $20, I told her to keep $3, but she misunderstood me and started taking it all, so I asked for the $5 bill back, so she kept $4. No biggie. The cut was still half what I paid at my old hairdresser and the result is just as nice, if not better. :)

When I was younger I got my hair cut at places like Great Clips and always had success, but the girl that I liked quit. Now that I’m dying/highlighting my hair all the time and want new styles, I’ve been paying out the kazoo for my current girl. But I really, really like her so I keep doing it. Unfortunately, when I lose my job it’ll cut back SEVERELY on trips to the hair dresser!
