I think I pissed off my current hosting company. God forbid I tell it like it is, i.e. I told them I think their service blows. They moved my account to a new server. Interestingly enough, it’s called jailshell. Hmmm …
No worries, though. I signed up at No Hassle Hosting, and since I “know” (via the Internet) the person who runs it, I’m sure I won’t be having the issues I had before. If anything seems screwy around here over the next couple of days, that’s because I’m moving stuff to my new account. Especially in the photos section, where I have to set up the virtual links.
That’s a new shell they’re using, not the name of any host. Next time you get a shell on your Jaguar account, type “hostname” and you’ll know which host you’re on. The new shell is probably more secure, but definitely poorly named.
Haha, that cracks me up! But Paul’s right. You’ll be on “jailshell” on NHH’s servers, too. It is an interesting name. But it means that you’re “confined” to your own files and not files system-wide. :-)
