I can’t give it away

I ran out of the body lotion I’ve been using, so I found some old Bath & Body Works lotion in the Cotton Blossom scent when I was packing up my toiletries. I bought a ton of lotion in various scents when I was on my Bath & Body Works kick a few years back. It’s still good, just really strong-smelling and reminds me of Arizona because it’s the scent I used when we went there. The smell is driving me nuts! I can’t throw it out, though, because that stuff is not cheap. Any suggestions on what to do with it?

Anyway, I am starting to feel like my Google-searching skills are lacking lately as I cannot find where to drop off some clothes I would like to donate to people in need. There used to be an Amvets drop-box by the local Mexican restaurant, but when we swung by there over the weekend it was gone. So when we dropped Joe’s daughter off on Sunday, we went a little out of our way before getting back on the expressway to a spot where we used to drop off clothing, but that one was gone too. What is going on? Do they not want donations anymore? I really want to get rid of these clothes but I see no sense in throwing them away when someone could use them, esp. since some of them are brand new, given to me as gifts, that I will never wear. :p

  1. I went to Goodwill’s site and found this:

    http://locator.goodwill.org/

That doesn’t list all the drop locations, though, just the retail stores (most accept donations) and headquarters. You should call a store or headquarters nearest you and ask where the closest place is for you to donate clothing.
