Last Saturday we were invited to a game night but a snow storm began Friday night and lasted through Saturday afternoon. We got around 13 inches total and had no desire to go out in it so we literally did nothing but watch TV all day.
Sunday was E’s band concert at the community college. I took classes at the same community college ages ago but had never been to the theater before. It is very nice with super comfy seats. The only thing that sucked was this annoying woman who was eating behind us. The noise was distracting our attention away from the performance. First off, no food or drinks are allowed in the theater. Second of all, she was trying to sneak into her purse but was being extremely loud about it due to the crinkle nature of the packaging. Turning around and giving her the stink eye several times was not enough to stop her, so finally Joe asked her point-blank to knock it off. I was ready to switch seats during intermission but luckily she kept quiet for the second half. Seriously, you can’t NOT eat for an hour and a half? Rude people suck.
Monday was my epic Meijer shopping trip. I was there well over an hour just browsing. I got some really good stuff. The highlights:
I love this little Santa! He was normally $6 but was under $5 due to being on sale. I try not to buy any Christmas-themed decor before Thanksgiving but he was too cute to pass up and I’ve been wanting something Santa-themed for years. I only have one other Santa decoration and that’s a candle-related item. Most of my other decor is snowman-related.
These storage bins are perfect for all the makeup and skincare samples I receive in my subscription boxes every month. They were on sale for only $1.19 each.
I love these elastic ribbons! They were 50% off. My plan is to cut them and tie them off to make ponytail holders. They will last longer than the cruddy ones I have now that lost their shape after one use.
I also bought a pair of black leggings (I’ve been wanting some forever) but they didn’t fit well and I ended up returning them a few days ago. The hunt continues…
