Mickey Mouse is waiting

We recently starting planning our wedding/honeymoon in Florida for later this year and there is a plethora of information out there from what times of the year Disney World theme parks are least crowded, to detailed restaurant menus in the park so you can plan your dining in advance. I’m starting to get really excited about it all. It’s amazing how many people are addicted to the Disney experience. I found this site with a discussion board and many of the frequent posters have been to Orlando several times over the years. I’ve been there three times as a kid, so I know the feeling. This will be my first time back in over ten years, though.

The hardest part is scheduling what time of the year to go. I kinda had my heart set on having a September wedding date, however, the more I read in regards to the heat and humidity in Florida at that time of year, the less I want to go then. At the moment we’re looking at the two weeks of November preceding Thanksgiving. We’d actually be coming back home the day before.

In a way it kinda stinks because that means we’ll be celebrating our anniversary in cold November, but hey, it’s a good excuse for a November trip to somewhere warm, right? We visited the west coast in November 2002. :)
