Ok, I’ve been trying to find some new, interesting journals to read, and it’s just not working. Why does it seem like every journal I come across tonight is either written by someone who hasn’t updated in a month, or someone talking non-stop about their children? I don’t begrudge anyone who has children and writes about them constantly – it’s your prerogative, and trust me, I’d probably be writing about my cat all the time if I had one, but I’m just not interested in reading journals about kids.
Perhaps the lack of reading material is an indication that I’ve been online too long. I would go to bed, but it’s Sunday night, and I hate giving into Mondays, so I tend to stay up later than normal in a futile attempt to put off the inevitable.
Oh and speaking of being online, my brother has decided he wants to join the rest of the world and get a computer and internet access. He’s completely computer illiterate, yet due to the amount of money he has allotted for us to build him a machine, he’s going to own a computer that puts mine to shame. The good news, however, is that I will never ever ever have to burn another cd for him for as long as I live. And that is a very good thing™.
I know what you mean. I really don’t even know what to say when I see entries on the sites I visit that talk about their kids. I just can’t relate I guess even though I have a sister younger than some of these kids. :)
