We had dinner at the Panera in the mall last night with surprisingly no objections from Joe. He just doesn’t love Panera like I do, but I’m working on breaking him of that. ;)
I’d eat there more often if it wasn’t for how crowded the one gets by my work. It’s like that whole Walmart thing – it’s a stressful experience when it’s over-flowing with people. Plus it gets so loud, I can’t even hear what my friend is saying. Last night’s dinner was much different as it wasn’t crowded at all. I thoroughly enjoyed the dining experience as I was relaxed and the food, as always, was yummy.
Every time I go to Panera, I get the You Pick Two for $5.85 because I like variety. I usually get some sort of turkey sandwich with soup. Last night it was the Turkey Fresco (gotta love that cucumber sauce) with a bowl of broccoli cheddar. Let us not forgot the tasty bun they provide on the side to go with the soup. I could probably eat there several times a week if you let me. Just thinking about it makes me salivate.
I LOVE Panera! Fortunately Scott likes it just as much as I do, so he doesn’t object if I want to go there. I get the pick two as well, but always get the smoked turkey with asian chicken salad. Now I’m hungry again!
I loved Au Bon Pain just as much as you love Panera it seems. I’ve never actually been to Panera, maybe I should try it.
