Looking for some good streaming music? Check out this site for a huge list of steaming stations. I linked to the jungle ones since I love drum n’ bass but there’s a lot of other genres to browse if that’s not your taste.

Speaking of streaming music, Slacker has just released their portable player and I have to admit, it’s pretty cool. It’s too bad it’s just as expensive as an iPod. I’d consider getting one of these if they were a little cheaper, like $125-$150.

Since I’m on a music kick, check out this MP3 search engine. It bee good.

Ho ho ho, Merry Christmas Eve. I am [not so] patiently waiting for DHL to deliver my new computer. It’s on the truck, but where is the truck? That is the question!!!

It has come to my attention that I totally forgot about my Friday links feature. Whoops! That’s what happens when my schedule deviates from the norm. Who would have thought I’d spend the last three days shacked up with a sick husband? Luckily he’s getting better, albeit slowly and with a cough that prevents him from sleeping.

Anyway, on to the links!

This really short commercial is fun and perverted.

Lots of laughs with these true travel agent stories. Too bad there aren’t more of them.

Tired of bad news? How about good news served daily at Gimundo? It’s better than reading about another murder-suicide or car accident.

If you like black olives like I do, this simple recipes for hors d’oeuvres will be right up your alley. I’m making these today for our Christmas Eve celebration at my parents’ tonight. I also made these sweet potatoes which are super yummy. Even if you normally don’t care for sweet potatoes (like me), I promise you will like this dish. Unless you don’t like sugar and butter, and if so, I weep for your soul.

There used to be a Showtime original series called Dead Like Me which I loved. Unfortunately, it got cut down in it’s prime. I found out there’s going to be a movie and most of the original cast is in it! I’m really looking forward to it because even George’s sister, Reggie, is coming back. Check out the trailer here.

Friends of the Five Day Weekend believe workers waste much of their day, and if motivated by more time off, could get more accomplished in half the time. I can see that to a certain degree but I don’t think it applies to everyone. For instance, I’m a fast and efficient employee, yet I can never get caught up because my workload is ridiculous! I love the idea of this movement, however. Hell, I’d be happy with a four day weekend. Working for the weekends suck.

This post was brought to you by my faster computer thanks to the 1 GB of memory my husband bought me today. I might not smash it into pieces now.

If you like Scrubs, you have to check out Rate Your Doc. I particularly enjoyed J.D.’s profile so I voted for him.

I must have this ornament! I caught the last ten minutes of the original Rudolph awhile back and I couldn’t help but wonder why they decided that when his nose would light up it should make an awful screeching noise at the same time.

Sorry, that’s all I got this week. I’m sleepy!
