We went to see the first showing of Finding Nemo at 10:45 am. Damn, I wish they had early showings like that for the adult films! Surprisingly, considering the theater was full of children, it was relatively quiet. And the kids that did get cranky and started crying were taken out of the theater by their parents. Isn’t that ironic, that they’d remove them from a children’s movie, but not an adult film?

Anyway, the movie was good. I enjoyed it a lot, and will definitely be getting it on dvd when it becomes available. Despite Evan’s assumption that there would be outtakes, there weren’t. I was surprised, considering Monsters Inc. and Toy Story had them. Didn’t A Bugs Life too? I can’t recall. We stayed through the credits just in case, and caught a few cute things they threw in there, but no outtakes. Despite them being planned and not true outtakes, I find them entertaining nonetheless and was disappointed that there weren’t any. Oh, and the short film prior to the movie was cute as well. Go see it right now!

We went to see Bruce Almighty today. Someone wrote that if you liked Liar Liar (which ironically enough, we watched on cable this weekend), you would like this movie, and the more I think about it, I believe that was a fair assessment. Although I must say I liked this movie the most out of Jim Carrey’s portfolio. It was entertaining from start to finish with many laugh out loud scenes. Jennifer Aniston was fantastic as always, as was Morgan Freeman. God (*wink*), I really love him as an actor! I could see myself owning this flick when it comes out on dvd.

Came across this interesting site called Matrix Theories where the author dissects the series, posting several entries a day. Quite interesting.

I also found this pretty cool Matrix Screensaver. I’m not big on screensavers, and have been using the default Windows XP logo one, but this Matrix one is pretty sweet.

I think I’m getting Matrix fever.
