The past few days I’ve been feeding Peanut her dinner by hand to get her more accustomed to my scent since she’s still skittish. Plus it’s just adorable how she gingerly takes the food from my fingers, sometimes placing her paws on me to steady herself. She is very gentle grabbing the food with her teeth so I’m no longer weary about her accidentally biting me. Even with very small pieces she hasn’t bitten my finger by accident. I will have to get a picture of it next time I am feeding her because it’s too cute! I’ll ask Joe to do it since it would be hard to take a photo while I am feeding her.
I didn’t get the opportunity to bring her out of her cage much last week other than Friday and Saturday night. The kids loved watching her but she quickly grew bored (or scared, who knows) and crawled into a tube and wouldn’t come out. Last night we were busy trying to clear some stuff off the DVR since it was nearing 80% full, so I didn’t spend any time with her other than hand feeding her.
