It’s that time of the year again. Well, actually it’s earlier this year, but in any case, it’s that time when people far and wide bitch and moan about the whole hour (*rolls eyes*) they lost thanks to Daylight Saving Time. Well suck it up, bitches, because I love it! LOVE IT! I have been waiting for this in anticipation. I’m more than willing to give up an hour of my day to have more sunshine when I get off work. And can I say how glad I am that DST has been permanently extended by three weeks? I am in my glory! Hell, I even changed the alarm clock this morning so we’re not running behind tomorrow.
Bring on the sunshine! Woo-hoo!
I love it too!!!!!!! I never understand the complainers! I was THRILLED to find out it will be even longer this year. WOOHOO!!
I’m a big fan of DST myself and look forward to not leaving work in the dark and being able to go hiking after work. I’m happy about the extension and hope it stays. (Apparently, the government is spending $150 million to study the effects on energy usage before making it permanent). I will admit though that it takes me a good week to adjust and for some reason it seems every year I work the weekend that it happens. Mondays are hard for me, harder when I work Saturday and only have a 1-day weekend and a teeny bit harder on DST weekend. It’s worth it though…yes, it is!
I love it too. Personally, I would love it if we had day light 24 hours a day… I just love to think of all the things I could get done. Of course I’d like year round 70 degree weather to go along with it.
DITTO DITTO DITTO!!!!!
