Ok, so after I posted that last entry I noticed I had a voice-mail. It was the manager at the local Sears store letting me know that the shoes I had ordered for in-store pickup really aren’t in stock and since they were on clearance they wouldn’t be getting any more. So I had to call Sears online to figure out what to do. The rep had to cancel my order and redo it so everything would ship to me. The prices were higher, but she’s issuing me a credit for the difference as well as crediting me the shipping charges, so in all I’ll be getting everything cheaper. However, I won’t have the shoes in time for Wednesday which means I won’t be able to wear my dress. I’m a sad panda. At least Sears has good customer service; I didn’t even ask them to compensate me for the hassle.
