This or That – Surf’s Up!

1. Surf sites at random, or have a set list of regular reads? A bit of both. But I have a regular list that I check often.

2. Do you visit mostly blogs, or news or other sites? Mostly blogs, but the internet is great for looking up all sorts of information, useless facts, and whatnot.

3. Do you go online every day, or just a couple of days a week? Every day. Too much, in fact. I’m working on cutting it down, but it’s highly addictive.

4. Do you allow comments on your blog, or not? I do, and have never really had a problem with people.

5. Do you shop online at all, or at regular stores? Both. I will usually see what I want at a regular store, and try to find it cheaper online. No taxes, baby!

6. Have you ever done online bill-paying/banking, or not? Nope. I wouldn’t mind trying it, but I think there’s a charge for it.

7. Which news site do you prefer… MSNBC.com or CNN.com? Or do you prefer some other one? I don’t have a preference. I usually don’t go out of my way to read the news because it’s depressing.

8. Live chat rooms, or message boards? Neither. I’m not into the online chatting thing.

9. Instant messaging or e-mail? E-mail. I like responding on my own time line.

10. Yes or no: have you ever met, or at least talked on the phone with, another blogger? If not, would you want to? Why or why not? Yea, I’ve met two bloggers; both a few years ago. The first one I met was weird. I’m withholding her name and website, but let’s just say, it really turned me off to the whole experience. She barely talked to me at all. In fact, her boyfriend at the time, whom she brought along, was much more interesting. It was odd as she seemed really cool via her website. It just proves that people aren’t always what they seem.

However, I took another chance and met Kristi when she was in the area for a work seminar. She is a very nice and interesting person, and luckily that made up for my bad experience.
