I was reading this entry on a blog I came across, and was impressed how the brain processes words. This must be a skill you acquire as you get older, however, because I had the girl (she’s 9 yrs old) come over to the computer and try to read the paragraph and she couldn’t.

That’s really interesting – I was surprised that it really is easy to read. So now people only have to work on their dang handwriting instead of spelling and I’ll be able to understand the notes my coworkers leave me!
Yeah, Jenniy, that’s actually why bad handwriting is so hard to read, especially bad cursive writing.
