I was very sad to learn this morning that John Ritter passed away. He was only 54 … which to me is very young. Normally I don’t take much notice to who dies, not that I don’t care, but it doesn’t really touch me. I really haven’t stopped thinking about John most of the day, though. I’ve always liked him, and he seemed like a wonderful person. He will be missed.

It made me so sad too. He was *so so* young – and six years younger than my dad. Scares me.
He was six days from his 55th birthday. In the latest edition of Esquire magazine, they listed 70 things they’re glad of, and one of them was John Ritter’s “stick-to-it-iveness.” He was an all-around good guy.
